Mavris Arts Center Wedding | Ashley & Doug | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer
Ashley and Doug's relationship can only be described as pure joy. They both have that kind of smile that makes everyone around them feel happy and loved. I felt as though I was part of the family throughout the day and felt privileged to have met such kind hearted and thoughtful people.
Their wedding was held at one of my favorite Indianapolis wedding venues, The Mavris, on Cinco De Mayo. What better way to celebrate the holiday than by treating guests to a gourmet taco bar and margaritas?!? I consider myself a taco connoisseur and believe me when I say...These were the best tacos of my life. The wedding was cheerful, elegant and OH SO fun. Simple blush and gold tones came together to create a bright and classic wedding reception of their dreams. Every little detail was intentional and honored their relationship with each other and their family. It was such a pleasure to share in their joy and watch them become husband and wife. Here's a few of my favorite images from their day. Enjoy!
This beautiful arbor was made by Ashley's father, and her Grandfather performed their ceremony. One of my favorite parts of the day was a beautiful reading done by Doug's sister, "Love Works" by Ron Healey. There wasn't a dry eye in the room.
In honor of Doug's father who had passed away, Ashley arranged for a surprise butterfly petal release as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
I couldn't end the day without taking these two lovebirds out for some sunset pictures under the twinkle lights. <3
Ashley & Doug, It was such a pleasure to have met you both. I hope that I captured your joy and that you cherish these memories for years to come. Enjoy your honeymoon in Maui!
xoxo
