Driving onto the property, the iron gates open to perfectly manicured grounds, surrounding the distinguished plantation home of Lowndes Grove. The waterfront estate with a second floor veranda creates an unparalleled backdrop for a romantic wedding day.
Marylin looked stunning in a delicate gown from Claire Pettibone paired with a loose romantic updo to showcase the beautiful back and neckline.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interior of the house with dreamy natural light, creating the perfect atmosphere for photos of the bride and groom as they prep for their ceremony. The chic estate is decorated in an elegant and classic style with light and airy colors.
Katelyn Pinner Studios accented the whimsical feel of the venue with lush, overflowing flowers. Springtime in Charleston is every petal lover’s dream with oversized feminine blooms. Katelyn’s incredible selections of flawless local floral included: dogwood, peonies, lambs ear and ranunculus. The front of the estate was the perfect backdrop for the romantic outdoor ceremony.
Riding away from the ceremony in a vintage Rolls Royce from Lowcountry Valet is the ultimate romantic getaway. Literally swooning!
