Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding
The word 'beautiful' barely does justice for this Scottish Rite Cathedral Wedding. This classic affair took place in the heart of Indianapolis with the richly appointed ballroom decked out from head to toe with lush greens and overflowing blooms. Add to all that fanfare a long list of talented vendors and what you have is one VERY pretty Saturday filled with love and laughter. At the center of it all, this wonderful couple, Patia and George, soaking up a day that was quintessentially them; personal, classic, and utterly gorgeous…
The bride donned a timeless Rita Vineries gown accented with heirloom details and the groom wore a blue tuxedo with black lapel accent.
Scottish Rite Cathedral is one of my favorite wedding venues in Indianapolis and was said to be one of the seven most beautiful buildings in the world. From the stained glass windows to the rich woodwork, this gorgeous ballroom always makes for an evening to remember.
Patia and George spent a year and a half searching for the antique porcelain vases that were the centerpiece of each table. I loved that each vase had a special unique design and a variety of flowers in each display.
George & Patia shared their first dance as husband and wife to one of my all time favorite songs, 'Hold On' by Michael Buble
Patia & George, Thank you so much for trusting me to photograph your beautiful wedding. I hope you have an amazing time in Italy!!
