We travelled to Florida this week to photograph Melissa and Jake's destination wedding. I'm convinced that Marco Island is one of the prettiest and most relaxing locations to have a beach wedding. It's a gem tucked away in Florida and provided the most charming backdrop for this sweet family to celebrate the couple's love.

Melissa and Jake sat beside each other in 8th grade science and fell in love during Melissa's final year of collage. They wanted a wedding where their friends and family could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings that Marco Island has to offer. The wedding couldn't have gone more perfectly from start to finish. Everything was relaxed, well planned, and every guest was beaming with love and excitement for this sweet couple. It was such a wonderful wedding to experience and I'm so happy the family brought me along to document their beautiful day. I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites... The couple chose a color pallet of coral and turquoise that went perfectly with the island vibe. And just WAIT until you see the adorable flower girl and ring bearers.

JW Marriott Marco Island Wedding reception

The wedding and reception took place at the beautiful JW Mariott on Marco Island. With stunning views of the gulf of Mexico, Melissa and jake said their vows with 50 of their friends and family lovingly watching.

Melissa and Jake, I hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon! I can't thank you enough for bringing me down to Marco Island to celebrate with your family and make memories of my own with mine.
