The Sanctuary on Penn | Jessica & Sam | Downtown Indianapolis Wedding
Jessica and Sam's wedding day took place at the Sanctuary on Penn located in beautiful downtown Indianapolis. This restored church was originally build in 1875. With it's Ivy covered exterior and ancient Roman ruin design, this space is truly one of a kind.
Sam and Jessica met while Sam was an actor at the Indiana Repertory Theatre during rehearsals for Dracula, and Jessica was the production assistant. In her vows, jessica described Sam as her greatest love, and her very best friend. Their love for each other and excitement for the next chapter in their story was an amazing experience to witness. I felt as though I was part of the family throughout the day and felt privileged to have met such kind hearted and thoughtful people. Here are just a few of my favorites from ther day!
Even though we had done a first look prior to the wedding, that didn't change the excitement and joy that the couple felt as Jessica walked down the aisle. Jessica's grandfather started the ceremony off and her father took over from there and conducted one of my favorite ceremonies to date. There wasn't a dry eye in the entire room (mine included) as the couple recited the vows they wrote for each other.
One of my favorite parts of the day was the anniversary dance. Sam's Grandparents are 95 and 97 years old and have been married for 70 years. What a great love to aspire to achieve one day.
Jessica & Sam,
It was a privilege to meet you both and to document your beautiful day! I hope you have an amazing time in Jamaica and enjoyed this little preview!
