Crowne Plaza and Historic Union Station Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer
Alison & Mike's classic Indianapolis wedding took place at the Historic Crowne Plaza and Union Station located in the heart of Downtown Indy. Every elegant detail was planned so perfectly, I'm not sure where to begin!
The venue itself is America's first "Union Station", and was built in 1888. The Grand Ballroom is awe inspiring with it's distinctive arches, glass barrel ceiling, and 20-foot leaded stained glass wagon wheel focal point.

After the ceremony the guests were treated to an evening of dinner, dancing, and fabulous cocktails. The elegant centerpieces were created by Alison's mother. The cascading orchids were the perfect touch to the grand ballroom.
If you tried the Butterscotch Popcorn made by The Jessop's, I can guarantee that you are addicted for life. I'm going to need to start ordering in bulk. Alison, if you have a few hundred extra favors--I'd be happy to take those off your hands ;)
If you've lived in Indianapolis for more than a month....chances are you've heard of the iconic Long's Bakery. Rather than the standard wedding cake, Alison and Mike opted for a tower of Long's doughnuts for the cake cutting. They also treated the guests to a full on doughnut bar after dinner.
