Indiana State House Wedding| Indianapolis Arts Garden Reception | Lauren & Nate
Lauren and Nate's wedding took place at the Indiana State House, one of my favorite ceremony venues in Indianapolis. The state house was the perfect location for this sweet couple to say their vows! With its marble floors, soaring architecture, and stained glass dome...This venue is always a gorgeous classic that leaves guests in awe. Lauren's classic and elegant style came together perfectly with shades of navy and gray, complimented by overflowing blooms from Gina Howard Designs. The event went flawlessly and it was such an honor to spend the day with these two and their amazing friends and family. Here are just a few of our favorites from their day! Enjoy!
After the ceremony, the bridal party took a trolly for photos around monument circle. With the state house in the distance, this was the perfect spot for the new Mr & Mrs Ligon!
The Indianapolis Artsgarden, located in the heart of downtown, was the perfect backdrop for this classic and modern wedding reception. Standing seven stories, this glass and steel enclosed dome made for an unforgettable experience for the guests as they celebrated the couple and their love.
In honor of Lauren's father who had passed away in May, his 4 best friends led a toast in his honor. There wasn't a dry eye in the entire house as everyone remembered such a great man and toasted him on his daughter's wedding day.
Lauren & Nate, I hope you have an amazing time in St Lucia!! We loved every second of your beautiful day, and feel honored you trusted us to capture all the beautiful details.
xoxo
Danielle
We loved working with all the amazing vendors that made this beautiful day run perfectly! Emily Ventura Designs planned the day and everything went flawlessly from start to finish.
From Emily Ventura Designs:
As a planner, planning Lauren and Nate's wedding was a dream some true. Lauren is a midwest gal turned southern belle when her fiance, Nate, swept Lauren off her feet and moved her to Louisiana due to his job in the Air Force. Planning a wedding from a different state, in a short time frame can prove to be challenging but not for these two. Every detail of their utmost perfect and gorgeous day was executed flawlessly. When guests showed up to the well decorated Arts Garden, it wasn't for the food or drinks, it was to show their love for their bride and groom. This wedding of 140 guests felt like a true intimate gathering. The white glove service from the Conrad adds a touch of elegance that all should experience sometime in their life. The team from Danielle Harris photography captured each piece of the wedding so thoroughly. Lauren and Nate's wedding was a true modern classic on a fairytale.
